Colin is an Associate in our Health and Business Departments, focusing on advising businesses from formation and governance to complex transactions and strategic growth opportunities. Colin represents a wide range of clients, including single and multi-member limited liability companies, professional entities, domestic and foreign business corporations, and healthcare organizations. Colin joined O’Connell & Aronowitz in May 2022 as a law clerk, where he honed his skills through legal research, motion drafting, conducting client interviews, and preparing for court proceedings. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Albany County Bar Association.

Colin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a concentration in American Politics, from the University of Arizona. During his summer breaks, he gained invaluable experience as an intern at the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office. He received his J.D. from Albany Law School, graduating cum laude. While at Albany Law School, Colin actively participated in numerous moot court competitions and was a member of the men’s basketball team. In his final year, he worked as a legal intern at the Edward P. Swyer Justice Center Health Law Clinic, where he provided support to clients facing healthcare-related issues and contributed to expanding access to justice.

Originally from Syracuse, Colin currently lives in Schenectady with his fiancé and miniature goldendoodle. Colin loves sports and plays in several recreational sports leagues in and around the Capital Region. When he is not enjoying the outdoors, he enjoys getting together with friends and family to cheer on his favorite Philadelphia sports teams and the Arizona Wildcats!
