Medicaid & CHIP Provider Relief Fund Applications Due Monday, August 3, 2020
Under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (“CARES) Act, Medicaid and CHIP providers can apply for funding through the CARES Act Relief Fund. According to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, $15 billion will be distributed to eligible providers that participate in state Medicaid/CHIP programs or Medicaid managed care plans, and have not received any payment from the “Provider Relief Fund General Distribution (Phase 1). See “General Distribution (Phase 2): Medicaid, CHIP and Dental Providers. However, the deadline to apply is Monday, August 3, 2020.
