PARTNER KELLY MIKULLITZ ELECTED TO BIANYS BOARD OF DIRECTORS; SLATED TO SPEAK AT NATIONAL LEAD LITIGATION CONFERENCE

Kelly Mikullitz, Partner in our Environmental Injury and Lead Poisoning practice area, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Association of New York State (BIANYS).

BIANYS is a statewide non-profit membership organization that advocates on behalf of individuals with brain injuries and their families.  The organization aims to promote prevention while also play a central role in the development of public policy on the federal, state and local level.  Earlier this year, Kelly served as a guest lecturer at the BIANYS Annual Conference on the topic, “Anatomy of a Lawsuit.”

In November, Kelly will be a featured presenter at the 2014 HB National Lead Litigation Conference to be held in Boca Raton, FL.  A second time presenting at the annual event, Kelly will discuss pre-trial discovery issues in the context of lead poisoning litigation.

A legal force and advocate for those impacted by the damages of lead poisoning, Kelly is also active at the local level with speaking engagements and informational presentations at neighborhood associations and civic groups across the Capital Region about lead poisoning prevention.
